Downward Facing Balance

How to perform

  1. 01Lie facedown on top of an exercise ball.
  2. 02While resting on your stomach on the ball, walk your hands forward along the floor and lift your legs, extending your elbows and knees.

Form cues

  • Control the lowering phase — that is where most of the growth stimulus lives.

Common mistakes

  • Using momentum instead of the target muscle.
  • Cutting the range of motion short to add load.
