Prowler Sprint
How to perform
- 01Place your sled on an appropriate surface, loaded to a suitable weight. The sled should provide enough resistance to require effort, but not so heavy that you are significantly slowed down.
- 02You may use the upright or the low handles for this exercise. Place your hands on the handles with your arms extended, leaning into the implement.
- 03With good posture, drive through the ground with alternating, short steps. Move as fast as you can for a short distance.
Form cues
- Brace your core before the first rep and keep it braced.
- Drive through the full range — do not cut the lockout short.
- Control the lowering phase — that is where most of the growth stimulus lives.
Common mistakes
- Using momentum instead of the target muscle.
- Cutting the range of motion short to add load.
- Adding weight before the movement pattern is clean.
