Standing Pelvic Tilt

How to perform

  1. 01Start off with your feet hip-distance apart.
  2. 02Bend your knees slightly to keep them soft and springy.
  3. 03You may want to move your pelvis forward and backward and back few times before holding the tailbone forward in this stretch.

Form cues

  • Keep a neutral spine; stop the set if it rounds.
  • Control the lowering phase — that is where most of the growth stimulus lives.

Common mistakes

  • Using momentum instead of the target muscle.
  • Cutting the range of motion short to add load.
  • Bouncing into the stretch instead of holding it.
