Round The World Shoulder Stretch
How to perform
- 01Stand up straight with your legs together, holding a bodybar or broomstick.
- 02Hold the pole behind your hips with a wider than shoulder width grip. Your palms should be down and your thumbs facing out.
- 03Slowly lift your arms up behind your head. Don't force it if it gets hard to lift further.
Form cues
- Control the lowering phase — that is where most of the growth stimulus lives.
Common mistakes
- Using momentum instead of the target muscle.
- Cutting the range of motion short to add load.
- Bouncing into the stretch instead of holding it.
